Tim 'Get-It-Going' Junck

From the Desk Of: Tim Junck

Hi. Thanks for stopping by.

For a while now as I have talked to my friends and acquaintances, I’ve heard people struggling with techie issues. You too?

They have a blog up and running, but can’t get a name squeeze form added. They have a membership system, but PayDotCom purchases don’t create a new account – and they have to do things manually. Or they got some work done a while ago, and now they realize they just want a small tweak – and they can’t find the person that did the work originally. (Or you can’t afford to hire them at their current rates.)

Now, I am a techie, but I worked through these same problems! I wasn’t THIS kind of techie before – but I have learned. And I assure you, that learning does fit the term, “paying my dues”!

My capabilities now include setting up domains, tying in Google Apps (free Gmail for YOUR domain), setting up autoresponders and sales pages, establishing a WordPress blog full of useful plugins, and tied into a membership system that also hooks in with PayDotCom, one of the top-of-the-line affiliate marketplaces.

Techie Work is not “Your Job”

Even I should have had someone take care of a lot of techie work when I got started. Not getting help slowed me down. It meant I wasn’t using the tools and systems in optimal ways. The learning curve is just too huge.

So if creating a name squeeze page on your blog that is tied to your Aweber account seems as simple as putting together a Gulfstream aircraft, and adding a payment button with an affiliate program is akin to dental surgery for you, you’ve found help!

When your car starts to behave badly, do you hoist it up on a jack and dig into the guts of the car yourself? Most likely you do not. You take the car to a mechanic, you sit in the air conditioned waiting area, and you read People magazine while a mechanic “takes care of” your car issues.

So for your Internet business to work, you do need a workable plan. You need a product or service to sell, and a way to get that to the people who will be interested. In fact, you should find people who ARE going to spend money – whether you are there or not.

And if you want me to help with THAT step of your business, I can refer you to some people I respect for their training and coaching programs.

I hope you already have a program or two. Maybe you spent $2500 at a seminar, and maybe more than once. Great. Pick one of those ideas, hopefully with a full system that it will teach you. Then let me HELP with getting that going.

I Help ‘Get It Going’

So when you read, or watch the videos, there’s a problem. You don’t have all the background you need. Unless you have a VERY good program very much geared to a person just like you, there will be some disconnects. You’ll understand the words being used. Everything will seem logical, and you’ll make progress on setting it up.

But it just won’t “work” (for you). And then you have 4 options:

1. Dig in, be stubborn, and work at it. Follow all the instructions again. When this goes well, you do get your results. Win or lose, this can eat up weeks and months of your time. This option probably involves lots of time on Google, and “investment” in some training products. It’s the “elbow grease” approach.

2. Check in with the person you got the training or system from. They should be able to provide some great insights. But unless they have the time to roll up their sleeves and work with you, it still might not get you the results you want. Even if you get all the pieces right, the concepts might not click with you properly. And the results will not materialize.

(If they do offer to help, likely they will charge considerably more than me. :-)

3. Do a combination of 1. and 2., spend more than reasonable time and money on them, and just give up.

Or cut through a bit of the haze, get some clarity and hire me for this option:

4. Get A Rent-A-Techie On Your Team Today. Improve your capabilities in minutes, decipher geek speak in autoresponders, scripts that need to be installed, working with WordPress, hosting issues, etc. Just plain BUST THROUGH roadblocks, and railroad your tasks to completion. Let me take care of your tech “stuff” – you go RUN Your Business. (Your time is better spent on your business, and with your customers – right? Get some of my time, free up YOUR time, and enjoy the fruits of good task allocation.

And that is not all. Also get GUIDANCE on issues like:

  • What’s more important, working on your social media accounts, or creating some more content for your blog?
  • Should you charge $27 for your ebook and make some income, or instead – offer it at $12 *and* have a 100% affiliate program for it so you’ll build a list of buyers?
  • Are you better off getting a new $497 traffic course, or should you instead focus on building your list by 1000 members instead? And how would you add those 1000 members?
  • What does a healthy, profitable Twitter following look like? How do you set that up, and what should you avoid doing?
  • Is it really okay to focus on doing 3 or 4 things well? Don’t you just HAVE to study the latest CPA and adwords and exit pop training courses in your mailbox, and the new courses coming in the next 3 months?

Tim Is Definitely A "Get It Done" Guy

MFMS Gold Call Snippet June 2009

Tim is definitely a "Get It Done" guy. He easily grasps the big picture and then the details and pieces to put it all together. If you have a project and need an experienced detail person who understands internet systems, Tim Is your guy. He knows what needs to be done and how to do it.

There is no need to do it all by yourself or waste your valuable time learning something you may only use once when Tim can do it for you and do it right the first time. You will be able to concentrate on what you do best with Tim attending to the techie stuff.

I have been in a Master Mind group with Tim for over a year now. He never ceases to amaze me with his assessment of a problem and how easily and comfortably he is able to solve it.

What may be confusing to most of us is just everyday techie steps to him.

I suggest you give him a try - reduce your frustration and get you business rolling. He is a great support person and a "go to" idea guy to "get it done".

Fix Your Blind Spots, Handle The Tech

I am sure you have gotten something working after a VERY frustrating process of trial and error, even with full instructions printed out in front of you on your desk.

What I am suggesting is, don’t do this type of thing alone. Set an appointment, and you and I can work through these tasks together. I have more experience and, in many cases, I can understand the systems quicker and more thoroughly than you.

Take advantage of that! My job will be to raise your technical (and marketing) expertise level anytime we work together. (Of course, you can simply delegate to me as well for an even more hands-off but still results-packed experience.)

This will get you better results, more reliably, and much more efficiently. With less stress.

Here’s My ‘Get Stuff Done, Get Stuff Working’ Offer

The danger is that you feel all warm and fuzzy from getting a video to play on your blog, or some similar task. And you continue finding things to make you feel good. For months. At which time you realize that you started back on New Year’s Day, and have yet to complete a project.

You Have A System, But You Need Help

Rent some of my hours each week. Delegate. Make some of your tasks my problem. Free your mind from these burdens. Work on things that you are good at. I’m quite good at the techie stuff, so let ME do that stuff.

Techie Assistance and Expertise

I can look at the instructions you have, and turn them into the things you need. You probably need these things taken care of:

  • Tying a domain name to your hosting account;
  • Setting up a squeeze page and a couple follow-up emails;
  • Writing (or copy-n-pasting) a sales page for your first sales offer;
  • Requiring customers to “register” their purchase and get on your autoresponder “customer” list;
  • Providing downloads to your customers;
  • Or scheduling Tele-calls where you will teach your customers;
  • Or setting up a blog so you can provide content to your growing community;
  • Creating redirect links so you can promote affiliate products using a pleasant URL on your website, not some http://clickbank.com/xx/yy/zz?id=ugly-link type scary link.

And the list goes on.

Coaching and Guidance

I find that we all want someone to talk things through with. If you are a person that can successfully merge the systems from 5 training programs, get the pieces put together, and actually focus long enough to make things work – Great! Then I might not provide a lot of assistance in this area.

But most average humans that don’t have 6 months to dedicate to making their website work will want some feedback. Lots of ideas sound wonderful, and it takes time to work on them. Then what if they don’t work? Some ideas are worth pursuing. Others may not truly help you with your business plans. And I can help you understand which ideas are a good fit for you and your particular goals and approach.

Of the time you lock me in for, carve out some of that time to “work through” your ideas and improve your plans.

This is one of the most difficult parts of the “work” of building a successful web business. It can be difficult for the person without prior experience running a business, and driving from nothing to having a valuable product or service – and successfully selling that product or service. If you find yourself picking up that next home study course rather than planning your business, and making a sound business decision how to proceed – then this assistance might be the most valuable thing for you in the short-term and the long-term.

Get Me For A Task, or Lock Me In With A Techie Retainer

At first we’ll have to get to know each other, and learn how we both work. As this continues, we’ll become a good team. Just know that what I can get done in 1 hour might surprise you!

Many of these techie things I have done over and over. And my background doing system administration for international companies doesn’t hurt! I pick up more techie stuff every day. It’s just what I do.

And I’ve made getting started with my services quite easy. I’ve decided to give everyone an initial 3-hour block of my time at almost 50% off. So in our first 10 days working together, you can get a task done – or have some planning discussions with me. Check me out. Get comfortable. If either of us have reservations, we can part friends at that point. But you’ll probably be quite happy to move forward, and start seeing your project take shape. Get your list built, build more value for your current and future customers, and leverage your website and content to lay a good foundation for your business.

My Suggestion: Get A Hold Of Tim

Joan Stewart of BlogBizBuzz.com

Hi, my name is Joan Stewart and I reside in South Africa.

When I first met Tim Junck, an American dude who lives in Malaysia. Originally it was for the sole purpose of getting a product launched and I did not feel technically adequate to do this efficiently.

From this first introduction to Tim, I have got to know him and we chat frequently. As a technical go-to guy I have no qualms recommending him to others requiring assistance online.

Listed below are some of the tasks Tim has performed for me on my site, without his guidance, I would surely have been at a loss:-

- Autoresponder : Tim has guided me through this quagmire. I had confused the mail on cPanel, gmail and aWeber totally. Step by step clean up of all mail ensued, leading all mail into one box for clarity. Not that I am out of the woods yet, but I know I will have my mail running smoothly under his guidance. Now under control: Squeeze pages, Thank You pages and how to set them up.

- cPanel with Word Press, I have been "walked through" how to work directly in cPanel, saving time. I was totally unaware of what cPanel could do and was downloading and uploading everything via FTP. It sounds like "six of one" and "half a dozen" of the other, but anything that saves time, saves you money.

- Banking : One of my nightmares was adding buttons and checking the links were directed to the correct place. Within minutes, Tim was able to confirm the problem I was experiencing and sort it out for me.

Obstacles tend to ruin your confidence, I needed to move forward! Fully aware technical help is but a call away is quite settling, and you tend to achieve more.

- Upgrading my WP platform together with a new Theme, these were done in a matter of minutes, to my amazement! Checked all the "bells and whistles" worked and away you go with your upgrade completed.

- Rapid Action Profits system installation onto my site: Tim generally has an all round knowledge and definitely knows his way around various software tools. Google Apps was another setup, complete with an explanation on how to use it to make life easier.

- Weekly teleconferencing together with like-minded friends, one to two hourly sessions every week, what you accomplished over the past week and your plan for the week ahead. (This also assists Tim to plan where he will fit in to assist you!)

When we work on our own, it is comforting to know we can help one another to overcome any doubt you may face. A word of encouragement, spell checking, page layout, a valued comment or suggestion - all very valuable! Also, before you launch an offer, these other opinions count.

My suggestion: if you suffer with overload from Technical stuff, get a hold of Tim. Tim is energetic, fast and efficient at what he sets out to do and really is an added bonus to any team of site developers.

If you have any doubt and would like to contact me, please feel free. My site address is http://blogbizbuzz.com - also maintained with help from Tim. Built by Tim is http://marketinginfofutures.com.

If this sounds like a better alternative than buying that next training course, don’t hesitate!

I am only one person; I can only take on a limited number of clients. At some time soon I will need to declare my schedule full – and freeze my client list until some time is freed up again. Do it now! You won’t be disappointed. In fact, I expect you’ll be sending me referrals very soon.

Cheers!
